5 October 2009 To President Stock exchange of Thailand Small Fire at Global House Rayong A fire broke out Friday evening at a Global House store in the eastern province of Rayong, slightly damaging the merchandises. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The fire broke out at 7 pm (local time) on Friday 2 October 2009 as the store was closing, but was soon put under control by rayong fire brigade. A Global House executive said the store was fully insured. An initial survey revealed that the building structure was not affected, while the electrical and other systems were found to function normally. 98% of the sales area remained intact.
