2 August 2010 No.GLOBAL/SET/201009 Subject Reporting on Company's financial Performance for the 2nd Quarter of Year 2010 Attention Director and Manager The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Siam Global House Public Co., Ltd. would like to present the financial result of company for the interim financial statements for three-month and six-month periods ended 30 June 2010 which has been reviewed by certified public auditor as follows : Net sales for the 2nd quarter of year 2010, compared to the same period of last year was increased from 978.77 to 1,488.71 million baht which was equal to 52.10% . Net sales growth is driven by a marginal increase in comparable stores sales growth and the sales of new stores which have opened in this year. Net profit for the 2nd quarter of the year 2010, compared to the same period of last year was decreased from 243.80 to 140.12 million baht which was equal to 42.53%. This's result from company has recorded other income in the 2nd quarter of the year 2009 from insurance claim which was come from a fire accident at Chiang Mai Branch in November 2008 amount 215.72 million baht. If there is compared on normal business's condition, net profit for the 2nd quarter of the year 2010 was increased from the same period of last year was equal to 399.01% (Net profit for the 2nd quarter of the year 2010 is 140.12 million baht compared with net profit for the same period in last year which is 28.08 million baht) The performance of six-month period ended 30 June 2010, compared to the same period of last year, net sales was increased from 1,993.10 to 2,932.76 million baht which was equal to 47.15% but net profit was decreased from 281.14 to 217.11 million baht which was equal to 22.78%. For the reasons, company received income from insurance claim which was come from a fire accident at Chiang Mai Branch in November 2008. If there is compared on normal business's condition, net profit of six-month period ended 30 June 2010 was increased form the same period in last year was equal 231.88%. (Net profit of six-month of the year 2010 is 217.11 million baht compared with net profit for the same period in last year which is 65.42 million baht) Please kindly be informed.
